2025-2026 Season Announced
The Memphis Symphony Orchestra is thrilled to unveil its 74th season, a vibrant celebration of musical diversity, creativity, and community. This season also marks the 10th anniversary of Music Director Robert Moody’s inspiring leadership. With performances that range from timeless classical masterpieces to groundbreaking new works, this season promises an unforgettable experience for every music lover. The culmination of the season will honor the 250th anniversary of the United States, offering a unique musical tribute to this milestone.
The season kicks off with the Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto, featuring rising star Randall Goosby. Embark on a thrilling journey through the mind of an artist with Berlioz's legendary Symphonie fantastique, paired with Grammy-winning composer Mason Bates’ Philharmonia fantastique—a captivating sonic and visual experience inside the orchestra, brought to life with stunning animation from Pixar Studios. The MSO will also join forces with Opera Memphis for Verdi’s powerful Requiem. And don’t miss our special celebration of America’s 250th birthday, an orchestral tribute to the nation’s remarkable history.
The Masterworks Series and Paul and Linnea Bert Classic Accents Series offers subscribers the first opportunities to buy tickets to all MSO concerts, the best seats, special promotions and discounts. Subscriptions are available at the Cannon Center for the Performing Arts (Saturday night), Scheidt Family Performing Arts Center (Sunday afternoon), and the Crosstown Theater (Friday night).
